At Koło Naukowe Energetyków Politechniki Warszawskiej (eng. Power Engineering Academic Study Group) we value the cooperation that can bring many advantages to our Group by inviting international students. We welcome each and every student currently studying at Warsaw University of Technology (WUT) to join us and work on projects that can make our world a better place.

We welcome all international and domestic students who either speak polish or english on an academic level. The works that we conduct in our Study Group require fluent coordination and cooperation with other students. This is why the only requirement that You might encounter is to speak either polish or english. However, not every project is suitable for non-polish speakers – that is the projects that require writing texts in polish or are generally suited for polish students. Moreover, in some cases, the project coordinators do not speak english in a way that they would be able to coordinate the project in an efficient way – this is why we need to come to every non-polish speaking student individually to suit their needs and to give them a project they can happily work on.

After You contact us and declare the will to work, you will get the formal status of a Candidate. This means that you are formally in our study group. Then after working on a few projects (this process in most cases takes a few months, but there is no limit to it) you can get the Member formal status. This status has some perks such as:

  • the access to the rooms belonging to the Study Group (without needing a supervisor)
  • being able to vote on and be voted on the once-a-year offical meeting of the members
  • and many more

In order for all international students to be able to participate in the activities of our study group at an equal level as the rest, we are currently working on translating the most important documents that govern the Study Group. Unfortunately, this process has started only recently and might go for a while.
